A panini shop a few streets from Barceloneta beach, Compà is devoted to the flavors of Calabria, which means 'nduja, smoked provolone, stracciatella, and lardo all showing up between bread. That bread matters: everything is pressed and served piping hot on slow-fermented focaccia. A rotating menu of nearly a dozen sandwiches keeps regulars guessing, and a second location has since opened in Gràcia for anyone uptown who can't stop thinking about it.
