    The Spanish Revival facade on Ashford Avenue has been watching the Atlantic since the Vanderbilt family built it, and the foyer still delivers: ocean visible straight through the lobby the moment the grand doors open. This is a full-scale luxury hotel with three pools, a spa, beach butlers, a tanning specialist (yes, really), and rooms across the historic building and two modern towers, all facing the water. Forbes Four Star.
