    The Baccarat chandelier in the lobby sets the tone: this is a luxury hotel that used to house the Ministry of Defence, and the building still carries that weight. Rooms come with marble baths, Hypnos beds, and underfloor heating as standard, while the penthouses top out at two floors with a terrace facing the London Eye. A four-floor spa, Tom Kerridge's Bar & Grill, and Salvatore Calabrese mixing cocktails downstairs round things out. It holds a Michelin 2 Keys and a Forbes Four Star.
