The cocktail bar sits inside the Marina Bay Sands shopping complex, which means fluorescent retail chaos just beyond the open frontage, and smoked glass, dark wood, and candlelight within. The contrast shouldn't work as well as it does. A serious beer list and careful glassware signal that someone is paying attention.
