    A neo-bistro on a quiet Lyon side street where the menu is short enough to read before you've finished the bread. The chef keeps things unfussy but the cooking times are dialled in with precision that would embarrass kitchens charging twice as much. Regional wines fill the list without being dogmatic about it. The Michelin Guide awards it a Bib Gourmand, and if they're full, the same team runs L'Escapade Danton next door.
