    Ten suites carved directly into the volcanic rock, each one framing its own slice of the caldera, give this Imerovigli cave hotel its name and its whole reason for being. Jacuzzis tuck into open-air terraces or right at the cave mouth, a wellness area burrows deeper underground, and the restaurant climbs back up to the rooftop for the widest possible views. Living inside a cliff turns out to suit a Santorini holiday rather well.
