    A five-star hotel inside a genuine 15th-century ducal palace, which is either absurd or perfect depending on your feelings about chandeliers and heated floors occupying the same room. Original oil paintings and stained glass stayed when the marble bathrooms moved in, and tapestry-toned rooms look out over sculpted gardens with contemporary art scattered through them. The Michelin Guide awarded it a Key. Bruges' most theatrical place to sleep.
