    Inside the Giardino Mountain hotel, this two-Michelin-star fine dining room is where the Engadine winter gets its proper send-off. The chef's French-rooted cooking has a seriousness of purpose that the alpine setting only amplifies. A pâté en croûte filled with venison, pork, and goose, served alongside red wine mustard ice cream, tells you the tone immediately. The front-of-house team runs the room with the kind of warmth that doesn't feel rehearsed.
