    A chestnut tree and a fountain five floors above Potsdamer Platz sounds like the setup to a joke, but FACIL pulls it off. The rooftop restaurant at The Mandala Hotel wraps its dining room in floor-to-ceiling glass so the garden feels continuous, indoors or out. The kitchen holds two Michelin stars, working a fine-dining set menu that moves fluently between classical French technique and Mediterranean and Asian touches.
