Fortuin
Belgian French
Giant beer vats and a sculptural tree greet you before you even reach the dining room, which is the right kind of preview. Fortuin is a brasserie in a Flemish market town, hip enough in its décor to feel cosmopolitan but loose enough that kids are genuinely part of the picture, playground next door and all. The kitchen takes classical Belgian cooking and nudges it somewhere more personal, leaning hard on honest, gutsy flavour.
