A 19th-century neoclassical palace turned luxury hotel, with a restored courtyard garden and a façade that hasn't budged much since the original owners were in charge. Inside, herringbone floors and coffered walls meet contemporary art and sultry lighting. Rooms run to floor-to-ceiling windows and marble bathrooms; the larger ones get canopy beds and private terraces. The indoor-outdoor pool draws more lingering than the itinerary usually allows. The Michelin Guide awarded it one Key.
