Gondolen sits in a gondola-shaped structure suspended above Stockholm's port, with the Old Town spread out below like a postcard someone forgot to send. It's a classic Swedish dining room for long, unhurried meals, recently restored and back in form, with a live jazz trio playing daily and a menu built around herring, vendace roe, and halibut done properly. On warm evenings, the roof bar Pelago handles cocktails and the same view.
