    The Guerlain spa occupies the fifth floor of the newly reopened Waldorf Astoria, a quietly secluded floor above one of the more theatrically gorgeous hotel lobbies in the city. Treatments come with optional makeup touch-ups, a detail that makes more sense once you've seen the Art Deco grandeur waiting downstairs. Vogue named it among its 100 Best Spas in the World, and the hotel's pull is clearly part of the pitch.
