A Noe Valley sushi spot that runs two parallel experiences under one roof: a casual, first-come dining room with maki, sashimi, and tempura, and a reservation-only counter where the omakase leans into aged fish, cured preparations, and an aggressive hand with wasabi and fish liver. The wine list is short and surprisingly well-chosen for a sushi shop. The counter costs considerably more and rewards accordingly.
