A small, unfussy restaurant on Warwick's market square, in a building that has been a tailor's shop and, later, a restaurant called Tailors, which explains the name. The chef cooks hearty, classically rooted dishes with a light sense of play, and the room runs with the easy warmth of two old friends who seem genuinely glad you showed up. The wine flights, carefully put together, are a good reason to hand over the choosing.

Venison haunch with pear
“Dan is the chef of the pair, cooking hearty and satisfying dishes that are classic in their origins but executed with refinement and a playful touch – such as venison haunch with pear, walnut ketchup and bacon jam.”
