A glass-fronted tasca in Rio's south zone, Henriqueta serves the kind of Portuguese food that skips the flourishes and leans on good ingredients instead. The ceramic-tiled walls and open kitchen set the tone: unfussy, warm, built for sharing. Pork sandwiches marinated in wine and garlic, octopus roasted in oil with onion confit, egg yolk and almond sweets for dessert. Lisbon by way of Leblon, and it works.
