    Vintage automobiles parked outside a French Colonial facade set the tone at this 26-room boutique hotel in Siem Reap, a short ride from Angkor Wat. Inside, the expected dark floorboards give way to a quieter mix of Khmer and Chinese decor, with open floor plans and private gardens around palm-shaded Jacuzzis. A saltwater pool, thatched bar, and Cambodian restaurant round things out for guests who'd rather not be dazzled quite so loudly.
