    Lake water pumped through the walls keeps the rooms cool in summer and warm in winter, which is a nicer story than most hotels can tell. HOOD is a 54-room hotel in the Eaux-Vives district, a tram ride from the center and a short walk from Lac Léman. Rooms run from snug singles to proper suites, and the restaurant downstairs leans toward mezze and flatbreads with cocktails alongside.
