Bernardes Arquitetura's redesign wraps the modernist concrete-and-glass structure in timber, softening it without losing the minimalism inside. Beach-side rooms frame the water in a way that makes packing up feel difficult. The Arp beach bar runs from dawn to dusk, and the neighborhood handles everything after that.
