    The rooftop pool hangs over Copacabana Beach with a view of Guanabara Bay that makes other hotels' views look like an afterthought. This luxury hotel was designed by Studio Arthur Casas and Oppenheim, and the Brazilian Modernism angle is more than a talking point: Sergio Rodrigues furniture, warm wood, and a spa with its own outdoor slice of sky. Book a sea-view room; the city side is fine, but fine isn't why you came to Copacabana.
