    Vegan minibars and a rooftop with Pacific sunsets sum up Hotel Erwin pretty well: a boutique hotel that leans into Venice Beach without taking the bro-surf thing too seriously. It sits steps from the ocean in a neighborhood that has traded most of its beach-bum identity for wine bars and upscale boutiques, while still keeping the bodybuilders. The Michelin Guide has it among their selected hotels in Los Angeles.
