This clifftop resort on Monte Argentario holds a Forbes Five Star and a spot on the World's 50 Best Hotels list. Fifty rooms and cottages mix terracotta floors and exposed beams, and the bar pours a Pelican Martini to anyone who needs convincing this is still the place to be.
