    Scarlet macaws roam the grounds freely, which sets the tone for this sprawling all-inclusive resort on the Caribbean coast near Playa del Carmen. Hammock balconies, swim-up casitas, a rock-carved spa, and ten restaurants handle the luxury side, while the rates fold in kayaking through cenotes, a private island, and admission to nine eco-archeological parks. A Forbes Four Star property that somehow also fits Chichén Itzá into the package.
