    The Hyatt Centric brand is the chain's attempt to court travelers who aren't quite ready for the Park Hyatt but wouldn't be caught dead somewhere dull. This Istanbul outpost, in the glass-and-steel Levent financial district, delivers on that promise: neutral-toned rooms that skew comfortable over clever, a full ESPA spa, and an Italian restaurant and bar that manage to feel genuinely elegant. Zero Ottoman kitsch in sight, which is either the point or the whole point.
