    Via Margutta has been an artists' haunt since forever, and this vegetarian restaurant fits the neighborhood's slightly romantic self-image without being precious about it. The menu is wide enough that committed carnivores rarely feel ambushed, with tasting menus and à la carte options, and the desserts tend to be the thing people mention unprompted. Spagna metro is steps away, making it easier to justify the second glass from a genuinely considered wine list.
