A wine-forward French bistro where counter seats face the open kitchen and you can taste a glass before committing, which is either hospitality or smart salesmanship, probably both. The cooking runs to big, unapologetic Gallic territory: bone marrow butters, veal kidneys, whole fish in salt crust for two.
