Chef John Tesar's chophouse inside the Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes fills a large, dimly lit room done in weathered wood and beachy tones, with an open kitchen in the back and a well-stocked bar up front. Dry-aged steaks share the menu with top-shelf seafood and pastas that take a turn nobody saw coming, cacio e pepe made with ube noodles being the kind of detail that earns the conversation. The cocktail list keeps pace.
