Conceived as an homage to Juliette Récamier, a notorious Parisian beauty of the early 19th century, this boutique hotel on the rue du Cherche-Midi treats its muse seriously: portraits and memorabilia throughout, claw-foot tubs in some rooms, and a spa that punches well above the hotel's size. The bar and lounge does afternoon tea and small plates for guests who prefer their history with a cocktail in hand.
