    A boutique hotel on the site where Madame de Maintenon once minded the royal children, which gives the Louison a backstory most Paris hotels would invent wholesale if they could. The building has been kept firmly in the present, though: rooms run to luxurious details and each has its own distinct character. A wellness area handles yoga and massage, breakfast leans local and organic, and the Left Bank is right outside.
