La Cuchara de San Lorenzo
Modern Spanish
The name translates roughly to "the spoon," and the kitchen takes that literally, building a menu of Córdoban classics and daily market specials around dishes that reward slow, unhurried eating. Two brothers run this modern Andalusian restaurant, one on each side of the pass, and the Michelin Guide has given it a Bib Gourmand. The salmorejo and the oxtail anchor the menu, though the specials board tends to make decisions harder.
