La Grenouillère

An old farmhouse in the Canche Valley where the rooftop is tiered metal and the view is kitchen garden, designed by Patrick Bouchain as a kind of rural laboratory. This is a hotel and restaurant together, and Alexandre Gauthier's two Michelin stars sit at the center of it. The cooking runs seasonal and experimental, French at its bones but not beholden to the canon, which is a polite way of saying dinner may surprise you more than you planned for.
