L’Abattoir
West Coast French
Sitting next to Blood Alley in Gastown, L'Abattoir leans into its address with a quasi-industrial room that somehow feels warm the moment you walk in. It's a relaxed fine dining spot built around French technique and local West Coast ingredients, and the Michelin Guide has taken notice. Grab a bar seat downstairs if you didn't book; the kitchen view is part of the deal. The team took Vancouver Magazine's Chef of the Year in 2024, and the cooking has kept pace since.
