    Turntables in the rooms and a DJ downstairs on weekends, which tells you what kind of hotel this is before you've even unpacked. Le Pigalle is a boutique stay in the ninth, where the old red-light neighborhood has grown into one of the city's more reliably fun nights out. Rooms strip away the usual luxury-hotel ceremony and fill the space with art, vintage furniture, and enough vinyl to get through till morning. Not for light sleepers.
