Le Rock
Brasserie French
Art Deco bones, dim light, and a bar up front that moves at a convincing clip: Le Rock is a proper French brasserie tucked into the ground floor of Rockefeller Center. The team behind Frenchette runs it, and a James Beard Award for Outstanding Restaurateur followed. Seafood platters, duck confit, classic sauces, and profiteroles in buckwheat honey fudge cover the expected ground, with a little tableside theater to keep things lively.
