Philippe Starck redesigned this grand hotel near the Arc de Triomphe from top to bottom, and the result is less "luxury hotel" and more "fever dream with excellent thread counts." Hallucinogenic op-art stripes line the halls, the staircase drips with tiny chandeliers, and an in-house art gallery and installations fill the common spaces. The Raffles Spa, a kids' club, and even a dedicated room for visiting press round out the full five-star machinery underneath.
