A dim, low-slung corner restaurant in East Kensington where the pierogies are non-negotiable and the rotisserie pork lands on stewed kapusta like it's been doing this forever. The sourdough comes with dill butter and smalec, the seasonal water ice is a very Philly curveball, and the whole place reads like Polish comfort food filtered through a neighborhood that just figured out it had good bones. The New York Times put it on their Restaurant List.
