The mid-century room, with its bright orange window frames and striped banquettes, looks like someone raided a very good vintage furniture store and then had the taste to stop. Dan Kluger's West Village restaurant leans vegetable-forward without making a cause of it, and the wood-oven pizzas made with house-milled whole wheat flour keep tables ordering rounds they didn't plan on. A downtown crowd that takes its produce seriously fills the place most nights.
