    A rooftop terrace with views over the Main, a Parlour stocked with library and records, community kitchens supplied in part by an indoor farm: lyf East is a hotel that has quietly decided to be a neighborhood. The 100 suites attract long-term tenants as often as overnight guests, the art on the walls is local and contemporary, and the Bang & Olufsen systems suggest nobody was cutting corners on comfort to fund the philosophy.
