    The neoclassical façade on Passeig de Gràcia is the opening argument: this is a grand, old-school Barcelona hotel that has been run by the same family since forever. A thousand-piece art collection lines the interiors, with work by Tàpies and Anish Kapoor, so the corridors feel less like a hotel and more like a museum that also has a rooftop pool. Classic rooms, sophisticated without being sterile, and one of the better addresses in the city for shopping.
