    Foosball in the lobby sets the tone: Mama Shelter is not here to be precious about hospitality. The hotel sits in an up-and-coming neighborhood north of the Vltava, a deliberate step away from Prague's postcard center. Rooms mix boutique minimalism with local visual history, and the bar draws enough locals to make it feel less like a hotel amenity and more like somewhere you'd actually end up on a Tuesday night.
