The Rhône runs right past the windows, and the marble lobby has the kind of hush that good hotels spend decades earning. This Forbes Five Star property was the first luxury hotel built in Geneva after the war, and designer Adam Tihany dressed it in art deco bones with Asian accents, a combination that somehow avoids feeling like a mood board. A Japanese restaurant and a bar are on site for guests reluctant to leave the right bank.
