The architect Miguel Ángel Aragonés called them "floating boxes," and that's the right way to think about this resort in the quieter, more upscale San José del Cabo. Stark white cubes cantilevered over still reflecting pools, pathways threading between an oceanfront pool, a spa, a gallery, and a sushi restaurant shaped like a nest over water. Rooms are pristine and modern, with floor-to-ceiling sea views. The rooftop bar exists, and you will use it repeatedly.
