    The garden patio alone, tucked behind Jourdain castle, earns this creative French restaurant its reputation as a date-night destination. Inside, the room is romantic and artfully arranged; outside in summer, it's shaded and quietly lovely. The chef works a modern French style with obvious international detours, the kind of cooking where a cabbage-wrapped scallop arrives in XO sauce and somehow feels completely coherent.
