A neoclassical 19th-century building in Psyrri has been turned into a music-themed boutique hotel, which sounds like a concept that could go badly wrong. It doesn't. Rooms are named for figures from the Greek musical tradition, Maria Callas to Vangelis, each with its own color palette and graphic sensibility. A quiet courtyard appears where you don't expect one. No restaurant, but Psyrri has no shortage of options within walking distance.
