Medusa is a boutique hotel in a converted Victorian townhouse on Darlinghurst Road, designed by Scott Werner with interiors that lean aggressively away from their origins. There's no bar or restaurant, which is the point: the neighborhood handles all of that. Courtyard rooms welcome dogs, making it a rare find for travelers who pack a plus-one with four legs.
