    Unfinished surfaces, intentional rough edges, and rooms that range from "very intimate couple" to "touring rock band" set the tone at this Friedrichshain hotel. The team came to hospitality with no prior experience, and the amateur spirit reads as a feature rather than a bug. Prices stay modest enough that the creative crowd the place is pitching to can actually afford to stay, which in Berlin is apparently a radical act.
