The name is a pun on Montmartre, which tells you something about the spirit of this boutique hotel on Rue d'Orsel. The 25 rooms follow five visual themes, from cabaret to high fashion, all threaded through with Art Deco detailing and the illustrative legacy of Francisque Poulbot. The restaurant sits under a glass roof, and the Artist's Bar runs pleasantly retro. It's family-owned, and it feels like a private home, if your host had very strong opinions about interior design.
