The French wine list runs deep enough that you could spend the whole meal just reading it, which sets the tone for a French fine dining room that takes the classics seriously. The chef trained under Michelin kitchens, and the cooking shows it, seasonal and precise without tipping into the self-conscious. Bowen Hills is a quiet address for somewhere this polished, but regulars seem to prefer it that way.
