Tagliatelle gets rolled fresh daily, and the menu drifts between English and Italian, but N.L. Ginzburg is doing something more specific than a trattoria. Named after anti-fascist Italian intellectuals, this College Street spot threads Italo-Jewish culinary history through hyper-seasonal Canadian ingredients: a liver toast that nods to both Tuscan fegatini and Jewish chopped liver, rugelach at dessert. Italian movie posters and terrazzo floors do the decorating.
