    A Grade II listed Victorian warehouse on Ducie Street, all antique red brick and industrial bones, now does duty as an apartment-style hotel with Conran-designed furniture and full kitchens in every room. The public spaces run from a lounge and bar to a terrace and a restaurant serving shareable modern British plates. Manchester's nightlife being what it is, the building's new life suits the city perfectly.
